Friends of Abebech Gobena is an independent association of men and women homebased in Modena Italy  who want to help and ensure that ethiopian kids can survive and have a better future, and that their families, and communities have the resources and the skills to enable them to do so.We are a non profit association. Our objective is to mobilize volunteers in  every country to forming local groups, which could take ownership of community issues to help Abebech Gobena’s orphanage, nonetheless to provide financial support for a range of social orientated projects.Still and all, our aim is  to improve  the quality of life, be it physical, social and economic status of the many kids of Ethiopia, through community based development programs.Without education children’s future is bleak. More than 10 million childrenin Ethiopia affected by striken poverty face the prospect of being marginalized for ever.
